Installation Instructions
first, lets get one thing clear, the best way to manage your pakfiles is to unpack em.. period.. (Note: that “unpack” do NOT in any way mean it will require more space.)
if this is your case, place/unpack the pakfile in your q3test\baseq3\ directory.
else…
First rename your demoq3\ directory to baseq3\
Then place the id pak0.pk3 and the GP pak9.pk3 in that directory.
Recommended baseq3\ order:
- pak0.pk3 – id Quake 3 base.
- pak2 – 8.pk3 – (Future addons)
- pak9.pk3 – GurkoZ Productions Quake 3 Enhancement.
